A new leadership and the constitution of its technical office boost the BCN Time Use Initiative

Since September, the Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society will be lead by Ariadna Güell and Marta Junqué, which have been external consultants of the Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society, presented last 7 June.

They will both assume the Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society technical office, from which Fabian Mohedano is the sponsor person. Ariadna Güell is a professional specialised on the public sector both at local, regional and international level. She has a Sociology degree and a master on Public Management. She has worked on multinational consultancy companies for the last 8 years, focusing on public sector projects for international organizations (European Commission (including DG GROWTH, EASME o EUIPO), EBRD and United Nations (WFP, UNFCCC)) and regional and local level (Catalan Government, Barcelona City Council) and is currently co-coordinator of the Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society.

Marta Junqué, consultant for strategy and transformation projects for the Public Sector, both locally and internationally and activist. Currently, she is doing a PhD at the Institute of Government and Public Policies (IGOP). He holds a degree in Political Science, holds a Master in Public Management and Public Administration from the Pompeu Fabra University and has conducted several courses on European governance for Science PO Paris and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In the last 12 years, she has worked for various organizations and institutions in the public sphere (in recent years specialized in European projects), always looking for ways to contribute to a healthier, more equitable and creative society. Marta has co-coordinated the publication of the book “Fearless Cities” (2018, Icària) and is currently co-coordinator of the Barcelona Time Use Initiative for a Healthy Society.
