TIME USE INITIATIVE
The global initiative promoting time policies and the right to time.
We are putting time policies on government agendas to reduce time inequality and enhance health and overall wellbeing.
On the agenda
Time & Democracy | Night-time policies
Public presentation of Local and Regional Time Agenda’s volumes 3 and 4, exploring the relation between time policies and democracy, as well as time policies and the night. They compile time policies grouped into different topics, from civic participation or e-democracy to granting inclusive leisure nightlife and night governance.
Reducing the working day and beyond
This seminar aims to be a meeting space to approach working time reduction policies, as well as to reflect on the proposals that should be included in the future Time Use Law, to promote a more balanced organization of time. It will do so through the analysis of data, evidence, and impact behind specific time policies, from which the challenges and complexities in applying them to labour law, in terms of equality, education, mobility, and co-responsibility will be debated.
